Brazil

Published by garryblanson under Uncategorized

 Hello,

I hoped everybody enjoyed their  strong-end.

Well, this time we decided to feature a site with some Brazilian flavor.

Yes, it’s our friend Cris  over at http://brazilbusiness.biz .

Here’s a good sample of what you will be reading about :

After leaving the construction business to become a stay-at-home mom - now, of four - Bonnie McCarthy found life could be hectic.

She didn’t need all-day care for her kids, but she did sometimes want brief relief.

“I would go to the grocery store with a list of necessities but with the kids being kids, it was difficult to make it to the check-out line with all of the items from my list and my sanity intact,” McCarthy said.

“The same went for my children’s activities. While attending my 7-year-old’s hockey game, my 5-year-old insisted I watch her take the bleacher steps two at a time. This would have been fine, except that it caused me to miss my other daughter’s first goal.”

The answer: a new business - Maui PlayCare, which she opened in 2002 at Queen Ka’ahumanu Center. After seven years, she thinks she has a winner, so much so that she’s formed another company to franchise the concept.

When you’ve finished visiting http://brazilbusiness.biz. Please come

back to www.garryblanson.com ,and leave a comment on how you enjoyed

Cris’s blogsite.

Are you saying(using) the proper words ?

Published by garryblanson under Uncategorized

Recently,I had to admit to myself. The reason I didn’t get the results I

wanted was because I used the wrong words.

I’ld like to add,” It’s the words you use combined with how you say

and use them ” ; to the phrase,”It’s not what you say,but how you say it.”

I have found that, the words we choose, combined with how we decide to

use and say them can alter our lives.By using the proper words in the proper

situations,we can lead people to making better choices for their lives.

You see, when you use the proper words ; you are more prone to ask the

proper questions.Which in return, will yield proper answers(in most cases).

I saw in the bible how Jesus continually use this method, when he would speak

in parables.Sorates even use this technique.Lawyers and sales-people are

always at work on perfecting this proven formula.

So the next time you don’t get the results you expected; check and see if

you were guilty of not using the proper words!

   Hello everyone,

when I said Miller-time,I was refering to  Stephanmiller.com

{ http://stephanmiller.com  };this strong-week’s feature blogsite.

Here’s a sample of what you will read at Stephanmiller.com :

I never can tell when an idea is going to occur to me. One time it’s while I’m driving to work. The next, while I am mowing the lawn. But I can almost guarantee it will happen when I least expect it.
So I just started expecting it all the time and carrying a notebook along with me. Now it’s a Moleskine. I started with one of those 6 for a dollar cardboard flip notebook. But an idea written down in that notebook was responsible for the first thousand dollar month I had online. And it happened within a month …

Please visit his blogsite, you’ll be very glad that you did !

When was the last time you had a confidence check-up?

Published by garryblanson under Uncategorized

While on vacation,I ran across this certain book.

The name of the book is : The Laws of Lifetime Growth

by Dan Sullivan and Catherine Nomura. The book  had a

unique approach on how to view things. It made me look

at things in a fresher light. It explains how you can

prepare yourself for life by following several different

laws. Here are a few examples :

‘Always make your gratitude greater than your success ‘

‘ Always make your enjoyment greater than your effort ‘

‘Always make your questions bigger than your answers ‘

‘Always make your Confidence greater than your comfort’

The book went on to say that confidence is the ability to

transform your fears into focused thinking and Actions.

It stated that growing your confidence requires that you

periodically take comfort breaks(periods of rest).

Futhermore,we gain confidence by stretching out beyond

where we’re comfortable( you must expand your comfort

zone).Lastly,in order to make your confidence greater

than your comfort(zone),you are going to have to take on

new challenges despite any fears you may already have.

The book was a good-read for me,and I’ve added it to

 my list of recommended reading.

Manchild

Published by garryblanson under Uncategorized

  Hello everybody, I’m back !

I’ve been on vacation for the past  10 - 12 days, and I must say that it was good to take

some time out to be with the people who are close to me! I hope that everyone will do

the same(take time out ,to be with the ones you love).

Well, this strong-week’s feature blogsite is a dandy! Of course,it’s another one of the

fantastic garryblanson.com community members. The title gave it away,it is the

 Manchild blogsite at : http://whenleastexpected.com

Here is a brief sample of what you can expect :

May completing the aforementioned sentence inspire you to face your biggest and deepest fears so you can begin to honestly believe that you can achieve great things and do what you’ve never done before. Overcoming your crisis of faith will challenge you to believe that you can achieve what you previously thought was an impossibility.”

But be forewarned! Steppin’ outside the imaginary box of your comfort zone will severely test your faith in God and challenge your ability to trust God when the invisible fist of Adversity strikes. I double-dog dare you to see if you posses the inner core strength to stand in the menacing face of whatsoever can make you faint each time you try to take the first step across Jordan’s River.

As many of you who’ve been reading this blog already know, “personal leadership” is an “act of faith.” Leadership is a personal choice that will always be yours alone to make until a defining moment in your life occurs and challenges you to “live, love, and lead like Jesus Christ did — by example.”

Please take time out to visit with one of our own fellow community members.

I know you will enjoy your visit there , just as I did when I visited .
