Wants vs Your NEEDS !
It has come to my attention
that many of us have , ”lost our cotton
picking minds ,”when it comes to our wants
compared to our needs. We have gotten so
caught up with society, that sometimes I
really don’t believe that we can even
distinguish a need from a want.Futhermore,
we are so into the instant-gratification mode
that we could care less about separating the
two. Maybe it’s because , we don’t want to
admit it aloud. If we stay in denial, then
we won’t have to deal with this matter.
Well, you better be willing to earn a whole
lots more money.If you’re rich,you probably
don’t even need to be reading this. However,
if you’re middle-class or lower.You really
need to get this.Think about why you’re
having a not so easy time financially. At least
50% can be attributed to how you spend your
money.
First of all,you should live onless
than what you earn.Next, you should make
sure that you have at least $500.00 in an
emergency fund.Also,you should sit down
and write out a budget(so you can see where
your money is going/this can be a
real eyeopener). After you complete your
budget, you need to live by your budget
[live by your budget for 6months and you
will be able to do it with ease).
Once you identify and separate your wants
from your needs, you will realize that there is
enough money to take care of your needs
and then some.Remember, in order to
keep the meat lean;the butcher has to
trim away the fat.
In essence, our wants are nothing but fat.
Once you cut some of them, you will be
able to do some of the things that you
thought were improbable.
Once again, it goes back to your thoughts
and what “self” is telling you.We all have
the same 24 hours in a day.So it’s what you
do in those 24 hours that really matter.
The same with your money.Reguardless
of how much money you earn.If you save a
certain percentage of it and you cut
50-90 percent of your wants, you will
be able to live a more abundant life!
