Interpretations
They say,”beauty is in the eye of the
beholder.”Well,when it comes to interpretations;
“interpretations are distorted by the thoughts in
your mind.”
What I mean by this is,whatever
thoughts you’re thinking while doing things ,
will cause a direct effect on your interpretation.
This is one of the reason’s why we must be
careful to listen closely when people are trying
to communicate with us. Listening and hearing
are two different species.Just because you hear
someone when they’re speaking ,it doesn’t
mean that you were listening to them.
Listening is a skill that one must practice daily.
The more you practice listening, the better you
become at listening. When you don’t listen to
what is being said, your thoughts get thrown in
with the information and you generally get the
wrong interpretation of what was said.
Otherwise known as misinterpretation.
Misinterpretations happen all the time[mostly
when we fail to listen properly].We call this a
lack of communication.Lack of communication is
very disruptive, and is the cause of many of our
misunderstandings.Once again,if we would just
listen;we would avoid many of these false
interpretations.Therefore,we can see how
valuable listening is to interpreting.
Many times when a person comes to us with
a problem. All they really want is for someone
to listen to them.
You see, listening is how we get the proper
” interpretation.”
